Anastrozole

(for Men on Testosterone Therapy)

Anastrozole is a type of medication called an aromatase inhibitor. It helps prevent testosterone from being converted into estrogen (estradiol) in the body. While a small amount of estrogen is important for men’s health, too much can cause unwanted side effects during testosterone therapy.

Why it's Used

When men take testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), some of that testosterone can convert to estrogen. Hight estrogen levels may lead to :

  • Water retention and bloating

  • Mood swings or irritability

  • Gynecomastia (breast tissue enlargement)

  • Fatigue or reduced libido

How Anastrozole Helps

  • Balances Hormones- keeps estrogen at a healthy range while on TRT

  • Supports Results- improves fat loss, muscle growth, and performance

  • Stabilizes Mood- reduces estrogen-related irritability or emotional swings

  • Protects Against Side Effects- lowers risk of breast tissue changes and fluid retention

Bottom Line

Anastrozole helps men on testosterone therapy stay balanced and avoid high-estrogen side effects, so they can fully enjoy the benefits of TRT – energy, strength, mood, and vitality – without unwanted complications.
